Harness Joins the Continuous Delivery Foundation to Support Continuous Delivery Collaboration
SAN FRANCISCO, April 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Harness, the industry's first Continuous Delivery-as-a-Service platform, today announced that it has joined the Continuous Delivery Foundation (CDF), a new foundation that was launched by the Linux Foundation in March, 2019. The CDF was founded with the purpose of being a vendor-neutral organization that grows and sustains an open continuous delivery ecosystem. Its mission is to foster collaboration between the industry's top developers, end users, and vendors to evangelize CI/CD and DevOps methodologies, define/document best practices, provide guidelines, and create training materials to enable any software development team around the world to implement CI/CD best practices. By joining the CDF, Harness demonstrates its commitment to foster an ecosystem of Continuous Delivery solutions designed for modern, complex microservice environments.
