Harness Product-Specific Terms
The following Product-Specific Terms apply to the Products listed in the table below, and, where Customer orders or uses such Products, supplement the Harness Subscription Terms or other agreement entered between Customer and Harness (the “Agreement”). By using the Product(s) below, you agree to the applicable Product-Specific Terms listed below. Capitalized terms used and not defined in the Product-Specific Terms have the meanings given to them in the Agreement. The Harness contracting entity for each of the Products is specified in the table below and is “Harness” for purposes of the relevant terms, the Agreement and any associated Orders.
Harness Inc. Products
AIDA
1. AIDA. Customer’s use of AIDA is subject to the following additional terms.
1.1. Definitions
"Input" means any input provided by Customer or its users to be processed by AIDA.
“AIDA” means the suite of generative artificial intelligence products or features made available through Harness Platform or Software as outlined on AIDA’s website, in the Documentation, or in the applicable Order Form.
“Output” means any output generated and returned to Customer or its users by AIDA based on the Input.
1.2. Customer Responsibilities.
1.2.1. Input and Output. Input and Output are Customer Data. Customer must ensure that its Input, Output, and use of AIDA does not (i) violate any law; (ii) violate the Agreement or an applicable Order; or (iii) infringe, violate, or misappropriate any Harness or third-party rights. Customer acknowledges that due to the nature of machine learning and the technology powering AIDA, Output may not be unique, and AIDA may generate the same or similar output for third parties. Harness may process Input and Output to provide AIDA and related support in accordance with the Agreement.
1.2.2. Restrictions. Customer must not use AIDA: (i) to mislead any person that Output was solely human generated; (ii) in violation of the Harness Acceptable Use Policy located at https://www.harness.io/legal/aup, or (iii) in violation of OpenAI’s Usage Policy, or any other third party terms, guidelines, policies or the like to which Harness links in connection with the generation of Output.
1.3. Disclaimer. Harness does not make any warranty as to AIDA, Output, the results that may be obtained from the use of AIDA or the accuracy of any information obtained through AIDA, including with respect to the factual accuracy of any Output or suitability for Customer’s use case. Use of any Output, material and/or data obtained through the use of any AIDA feature is at Customer’s sole risk. Customer should not rely on any factual assertions in Output without independently fact checking their accuracy. No information or advice, whether oral or written, obtained by Customer from Harness or through AIDA creates any such warranty.
Code Repository
1. Code Repository. Customer’s use of Code Repository is subject to the following additional terms.
1.1. Definitions
"Code Repository" means any use of the Harness provided git repositories and large file store within the Continuous Integration (CI) module.
“Bandwidth” means the sum total of data transferred to or from git repositories or large file store in Code Repository.
“Storage” means the sum total of data stored on disk in git repositories or large file storage in Code Repository.
1.2. Customer Responsibilities.
1.2.1. Bandwidth and Storage Limitations. Storage and Bandwidth are Customer Data. Customer must ensure that the amount of data in Storage or transferred in Bandwidth does not exceed the limitations set in the Harness Code Repository module usage limits. Customer may petition Harness for an increase in these limits on a paid plan. Usage limits on free plans will not be extended.
1.2.2. Excessive Storage and Bandwidth. If Harness determines that Customer’s actual Storage or Bandwidth exceeds the usage limits, Harness may suspend Customer’s account, throttle Customer’s file hosting, or otherwise limit Customer’s activity within the Harness Platform until Customer enters a paid plan. In connection with the use of a free tier of Code Repository, Harness further reserves the right—after providing advance notice—to delete repositories that Harness determines will place undue strain or burden on its infrastructure or the Harness Platform.
